Layla Marquez
Layla Marquez is the first fictional character I created for the Layla's World and Layla's Glisten story series.
The character Layla
Layla Marquez is a lady who has been living without a family since she was eight years old. Her parents and brother died when Layla was eight years old and her families have always refused to take in Layla. Since the age of eight she has known a life as a foster child. A history she prefers to keep hidden.
Layla's World
Layla's Wereld is set in Layla's student days when she moves in together with her best friend Fleur Vlorensteijn. Layla is going to study English language and literature, Fleur law. The differences between the friends and the emotions of both Layla and Fleur cause clashes, but gradually they find each other again.

Layla's Glitter: Honor & Conscience
The story Layla's Glistening takes place three years after Layla's graduation. After graduating, Layla left for Paris, where she worked as a model and dancer. Despite this beautiful life, she still returns to the Netherlands to work for the Vlorensteijn empire and in this way to clear the reputation of her parents. However, this road is more difficult than expected.
Layla's Glitter part 2
The second part of Layla's Glisten picks up where the first part left off. Because of all the changes, Layla feels more calm, but with that calm, other perceptions and experiences come up. We also meet Layla's other friends, including Sophie Claessen. It is the beginning of the new Vlorensteijn, partly thanks to the contribution of Layla Marquez.
