The Dream House
A story about experiencing happiness told by Brigitte Mattiez. A lady who moves in with her family in one of the largest villas in a small town. To the outside world she lives in a fairy tale, but behind the scenes Brigitte experiences this very differently.
Brigitte Mattiez
Brigitte is a woman with an Indonesian appearance. She was adopted from Indonesia as a baby and ended up in a loving Dutch family with parents and an older brother. Unfortunately, all three of them are no longer alive, and Brigitte's grief for her brother in particular is still fresh.

She is not a lady who shows her sorrow to the outside world. In the eyes of many, she comes across as an intelligent resourceful financial journalist who can convey her knowledge powerfully through both the spoken and written word. But when her work unwittingly gets her involved in an international adoption scandal between China, the Netherlands and Indonesia, her emotions are tested. Especially when her husband Thijn changes plans unexpectedly.
